Consideration and possible action to execute a contract with Brandt Company, of Austin, TX through Buyboard Contract #631-20 for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) replacement in an amount not to exceed $658,000.00 -- Eric Johnson, Public Works Director |
| | | | | | | | ITEM SUMMARY:
This contract is to provide heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) replacement at City facilities. The City is proposing the agreement based on a BuyBoard Competitive Purchasing Contract (#631-20). These services include, replacement of existing HVAC units.
The City has used the Brandt Company since 2017, including HVAC replacement. Brandt has technicians assigned to our facilities that are familiar with our HVAC equipment and facility needs. As a result of Brandt’s level of service to the City we have seen improvements in equipment performance.
Staff is recommending approval of an annual agreement for HVAC replacement to the Brandt Company of Austin, Texas for an amount not to exceed $ 658,000.00. |
