Consideration and possible action to approve the purchase of one (1) Vac-Con V3111 Vacuum Truck from Doggett Freightliner of South Texas through Buy Board contract #601-19 for an amount not to exceed $467,283.25 -- Scott Parker, Fleet Services Manager |
| | | | | | | | ITEM SUMMARY:
This truck will be used by the wastewater department for line maintenance, and repairs. This truck is a new addition to the fleet per the proposed FY23 budget. Buy Board is a cooperative contract that results in competitive pricing for vehicles. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL IMPACT:
This truck is being ordered earlier than usual due to constraints in the global supply chain. The truck is included in the FY2023 budget. The Fleet fund has a fund balance capacity to cover the encumbrance of this vehicle until it is physically received and paid for in FY2023 in the amount of $467,283.25.
