Second Reading of an ordinance adopting the City of Georgetown Annual Budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2022, and ending September 30, 2023 -- Nathan Parras, Assistant Finance Director |
| | | | | | | | ITEM SUMMARY:
This Ordinance adopts the Annual Budget for fiscal year 2023, including operating and capital expenditures. The proposed budget was presented to City Council on August 9, 2022 following Council workshop on July 19th. Public Hearings on the 2022 Tax Rate and the 2023 Annual Budget were held on August 23, 2022.
State law requires that the budget be adopted as a record vote, separate from the adoption of the City’s tax rate.

This ordinance contains the “All-Funds Schedules” that details the 2023 Annual Budget total appropriation of $722,876,344. This number has changed since first reading due to a correction to the Village PID Special Revenue Fund. |
