(7) seven vendors bid on the household hazardous waste (HHW) competitive “Request for Proposals”. From those applications, Green Planet scored the highest on best value, and had the lowest cost.
Green Planet is a licensed and TCEQ approved hazardous material company with more than 25 years of experience. Green Planet will provide a minimum of four household hazardous waste collection events for Tier I and Tier II Georgetown solid waste residential customers utilizing an annual budget approved by City Council. |

Household Hazardous Waste events are budgeted in the FY2023 Environmental Services annual operating budget.
