Williamson County Historical Commission created the Memorial Brick Program which was established to recognize and honor persons, organizations, and events related to military service, ancestral heritage, or historical significance, and that are in some manner associated with modern Citizens of Georgetown and Williamson County.
This program has been in existence for a few decades, where the City of Georgetown helped in the installation of the memorial bricks. In 2021 the City realized we did not have a formal agreement with the Williamson County Historical Commission (WCHC). This presentation walks through the WCHC's proposed draft agreement and asks Council for direction on the terms of the agreement.
