First Reading of an Ordinance adopting the City of Georgetown Annual Budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2021, and ending September 30, 2022 – Leigh Wallace, Finance Director |
| | | | | | | | ITEM SUMMARY:
This Ordinance adopts the Annual Budget for fiscal year 2022, including operating and capital expenditures. The proposed budget was presented to City Council on August 10, 2021 following Council workshop on July 26th. Public Hearings on the 2021 Tax Rate and the 2022 Annual Budget were held on September 14, 2020.
State law requires that the budget be adopted as a record vote, separate from the adoption of the City’s tax rate.
