On November 24, 2020, City Council approved a contact for real estate services with LJA Engineering.  The intent was to provide an agreement which would allow for the City to issue task orders against the contract with LJA Engineering, as the successful respondent to the City’s general Request for Proposals for real estate services issue earlier in the year. These task orders would be for various real estate related projects as needed and for the term of the contract.  In order to carry forward in this manner, the contract must have a total not to exceed value for all services, which was not present in the contract at the time of approval.  This contract Amendment would provide a not to exceed contract amount of $500,000 for real estate services rendered.  City staff would then be able to issue such task orders as are necessary to complete City projects, totaling not more than $500,000 for the term of the contract and any extensions authorized by Council.  Approval of these task orders would be in accordance with existing City procurement policies.
