Presentation and possible recommendation regarding Water Rates Cost of Service Study results and new water and sewer rates, Glenn Dishong, Director of Water Utilities/NewGen
ITEM SUMMARY:
Presentation of Cost of Service Study results including new water and sewer rate recommendations to be implemented Jan 1, 2021.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Recommended rates will impact the Water Fund. If policy compliant, Water Fund will have appropriate debt service coverage, operating reserves, and revenue stability through appropriate base rates that are not subject to usage fluctuation due to weather and conservation.
