SUBJECT:
Consideration and possible action to approve a Resolution to set a Public Hearing Date for Land Use Assumptions and the Roadway Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) associated with Thoroughfare Impact Fees -- Wesley Wright, PE, Systems Engineering Director
ITEM SUMMARY:

In early 2019, Council authorized a study to determine the feasibility of implementing Transportation/Roadway Impact Fees for new development in the City.  As part of a complete study, State law requires Council conduct a Public Hearing on Land Use Assumptions and the Capital Improvement Plan that are used to complete the study. 

 

A final decision on impact fees will not be made at this Public Hearing.  This Public Hearing is necessary to complete the study.   

FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no direct cost for this Public Hearing.  The study is funded from the FY19 annual budget.  Financial analysis associated with Transportation Impact Fees will be discussed at future meetings.
