ITEM SUMMARY:

Hillwood, the developer of the Wolf Ranch Neighborhood, has requested a license to encroach to install landscaping improvements in the rights of way of Wolf Ranch Parkway, Pecan Bottom Drive, and Silver Dollar Trail.

The landscaping will be installed in the median of Wolf Ranch Parkway and at the intersections with Pecan Bottom Drive and Silver Dollar Trail along with irrigation lines to service the landscaping. The landscaping will consist of shrubs, grasses, and other plantings, as well as mulch and like ground cover, all of which will be approved by City Staff pursuant to a landscaping permit. The irrigation will be installed subject to the restrictions laid out by the City's Systems Engineering department to protect the integrity of roadways and rights of way. Irrigation crossings will be necessary at points 5 on Wolf Ranch Parkway, 1 point on Pecan Bottom Drive, and 1 point on Silver Dollar Trail, utilizing sleeves which were installed during the construction of the roadway. Plantings are not to exceed 3' in height to ensure visibility is maintained for drivers and users of the roadway. These improvements are designed to enhance the aesthetic nature of the roadway and surrounding area.
